Meet Porter — a puppy so adorable that every part of him, front and back, seems determined to melt the internet.
His mom, Alyssa Isabel, often snaps selfies with the growing pup, capturing his sweet face as he snuggles in close. But during one recent photo session, something unexpected stole the spotlight.
Later, while scrolling through the pictures, Isabel noticed a feature she'd never seen before: Porter appeared to have … butt cheeks. Real, round, perfectly placed puppy “cheeks.”
“I initially didn’t even notice his ‘butt cheeks’ in the picture,” Isabel told The Dodo. “A few hours later I got back onto my phone to look at the pictures and I noticed the hilarious image. I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is too funny.’”
Naturally, she shared the hilarious discovery on Twitter — and the internet immediately erupted.
Porter’s tiny “booty” went viral, with thousands chiming in to celebrate (and laugh about) his surprisingly defined little rump.
But just like a comet gracing the sky for a brief, sparkling moment, Porter’s plump puppy backside turned out to be temporary.
“It was just extra skin that bunched up because of the way I was carrying him,” Isabel said. “His butt has unfortunately not made an appearance since.”
Still, Porter has no shortage of charm. Whether or not his famous “cheeks” return, he’s got more than enough personality to keep winning hearts.
“He loves socializing with other people and dogs and he acts very well behaved for his age,” Isabel said. “He’s the cheekiest puppy!”
