People Are Struggling To Spot The Two Hidden Dogs In This Photo

While away on a trip, Gemma Halliday received a photo from her mom back home. At first glance, it looked like a simple scene — a pair of feet resting on a lounge chair, framed by a lush wall of bright-green bushes. But something else was hiding in plain sight.

Looking more closely, Halliday suddenly spotted them: her family’s dogs, Toffee and Squashie, expertly camouflaged among the garden greenery.

Amused by the accidental game of “Where’s Waldo: Dog Edition,” Halliday shared the photo on Facebook.

“There are two dogs in this photo, but you can probably only find one,” she captioned the post.

The internet quickly took up the challenge. People everywhere squinted, zoomed, and puzzled over the image, desperately trying to spot both sneaky pups.

Still can’t find them? Don’t worry — you're not alone. Here’s some help:

When they’re not blending seamlessly into their surroundings, Toffee and Squashie are usually romping around with their fellow canine siblings, Tippy and Noodle.

But even on hot summer days, when most dogs seek out shady spots, these two have a different strategy.

“Now that it's hot in the summer, they will hide in the bushes,” Halliday told The Dodo. “That part of the garden isn't very shaded, but they like to be close to the family — so the only option is the bushes.”

Their unique personalities shine just as much as their hide-and-seek skills.

“Toffee is the pack leader. She loves food and, thanks to her goofy teeth, she’ll dribble on you if cheese or chicken is nearby,” Halliday said with a laugh. “Squashie is the wild one — totally obsessed with giving kisses.”

Whether they’re in plain sight or buried in the bushes, Toffee and Squashie are never far from the people they love most — even if you have to squint to find them.
