The rescuers at “Save Our Street Dogs (SOSD) Singapore” were informed about a sick homeless dog lying lifelessly in his own waste and howling in pain for the past 3 days.
But what started out as a routine rescue soon turned into an enlightening life lesson for the entire community.

The homeless dog, named Ol Boy, never knew a life outside of the brutal streets. He used to survive on air-conditioner water and leftovers, but he lost his ability to fend for himself as he grew old.
Ol Boy smelled like a “dead rat” by the time the SOSD members found him. They rushed him to the vet, fervently praying that he still had some life left in him.
