For the second time in a few short weeks, someone dumped a litter of puppies after hours on the doorstep of an animal shelter. Security cameras captured the heartless act of animal abandonment, and authorities need your help.

In the latest instance, Mobile County Animal Shelter (MCAS) in Alabama shared on Facebook that a whole new level of cruelty is involved. The litter of puppies left on their doorstep had no access to food, water, or oxygen, as they were left in a sealed container.
Amazingly, the puppies survived and are in the care of the shelter.

Images of the man discarding the puppies appear on the shelter’s Facebook page with this important reminder: “Abandoning animals is a crime, and we ask that if you have stray or unwanted animals, that you please reach out to your local animal shelter or a rescue organization. Please don’t endanger animals’ lives by dropping them off somewhere you think they will be found.”
