They could finally hear the puppies crying! The cries got louder as the rescuer and mama got closer to them.

And then, just as they prayed, the puppies appeared! As each pup was picked up and showed to mom, she sniffed them happily and gave them kisses!

Mom and the two puppies were relocated to a safe place around the corner. The rescuers fed mama to make sure she had a sufficient milk supply.
It’s so wonderful to see the puppies nurse, knowing now they are certainly safe and sound (and in good paws!)

Once the puppies are weaned, Animal Aid will have mama spayed and put up for adoption along with her puppies.
