Man gets arrested for saving his dog from his burning house

As bizarre as it sounds, a man was arrested for saving his dog from a house fire. The reason being that he put himself and many others, including firefighters, in more danger. But how hard would it be to sit back and see your dog inside with the fire?

“I couldn’t watch no more. I had to go get him.”

    The guy’s a hero; the cops are zeros. I would go into a burning building for my pups, police or no police. The cops are being complete and total a$$’oles. And if they weren’t going to help, then at least they should have gotten out of the way.

    Slippery slope we are on when the law is against us for doing the right thing. I am not talking about police officers it’s the law through regulations and restrictions that allowed them to handcuff this guy.

    i had the same thing happen to me . the house i was renting was a 3 family i was the second floor . one day i came home from work saw fire trucks in front of my place windows knocked out . i had to park 3 blocks down from my place because of the fire trucks all over . i ran to my place and asked where my dog was . they said it wasnt safe to go up stairs to get him . i freaked and told them i am going to get my dog . you want to arrest me you can do it after my dog is out of here . are you crazy to leave animals inside a smoked filled house . they agreed to go up with me to get my dog . he was locked in a smoked filled apartment . i picked up my dog and ran out of the place . fell apart because i could have lost him . i said i will get a lawyer if i have to because this is abuse . the house was not burning it was smoked filled . i said to the fire department why could you not brought my dog to safety . he was a miniature schnauzer . who would not harm anyone . . they couldnt give me a reason . they never pressed charges against me . if they were to i would have got a lawyer friend who would have made their life hell . they are part of your family you dont leave a family member behind to die

    I was with my girlfriend, Dana, (we were 13)at her house, when the kitchen inadvertently caught fire from the chip pan. We were downstairs playing pinball and came upstairs & found the kitchen on fire. Out of control. Called the fire dept. no 911 then. We had a sticker on the phone for the 7 digit number. Ran out of the house waiting for the fd. Dana ran back in through billowing black smoke to rescue the small dog. She was successful. Doggie was ok. Before anyone puts negative posts remember. We were 13.
