    My Lilly was over the moon to be getting out of the shelter.
    My previous adopted dogs also were very grateful indeed to be rescued, I have always adopted, never bought a pup from a shop
    There are years of good times in these dogs, you should look at the shelter before you go to a pet shop.

    Our best friend was a rescue dog, we just love her so much, we didn’t choose her she chose us and on meeting she peed on my husband shoes because she was so excited, she had marked him as hers, we’ve had her 7 years now and they are inseparable.

    it was the same with my baby – I couldn’t get her into the crate to bring her home because she was stuck to me like glue and made herself really heavy – she knew she was being rescued, but was determined not to let go just in case – luckily the drive was not far and lateish, so the roads weren’t busy and I just drove really slowly with her on my knee. We got home safe and sound and she jumped onto my knee on the sofa and she hasn’t left my side since. I just adore her and she’s spoilt rotten, which of course, they ALL deserve xx
