    A few years ago Firestone tires caused a few injuries (maybe even deaths) in about 4-5 accidents. Most of these accidents were in hot states (Florida comes to mind) which caused the tires to get too hot and flat tires causing accidents. The entire line of tires (I think tires in the millions) were recalled. The percentage of a tire blowing, especially in colder climates like Canada, New York State, or whatever, is probably something like 0.1%. yet the entire line was recalled. A more recent example of this is the Samsung Note battery fiasco. My point to all of this? Not all pitbulls are violent… but a simple google search will tell you about the origins of this breed, and way too many reported instances of deaths caused by this breed to continue breeding them. I’m not suggesting we kill the ones that are alive, but maybe discourage the breeding of future pitbulls.
