Girl Saves Senior Pug Left To Die In Garbage Bag

It's just heartbreaking to see these kind of news where the dogs get neglected and abandoned… but when we see ordinary people, let alone a 12-year-old girl, go out of their way to save dogs in need, our faith in humanity somewhat gets restored… Here's the story:

Buffalo Pug and Small Breed Rescue in upstate New York is taking care of a sweet old Pug named Teddy after he was found tied up in a garbage bag and abandoned on the side of the road. Twelve-year-old Malory Steiner saw someone in a dark-colored SUV throw a trash bag out of the car, and was shocked to find the plastic bag still moving.

They notified authorities and Teddy was quickly taken to the vet. The poor little Pug broke his tail when he was tossed, but Teddy is also suffering even worse injuries after being very obviously neglected for a long time.

    I am glad someone found this little love pug. However, I want to sincerely gouge the eyes out of whoever did such a horrific thing to this baby. Makes me cry to think anyone could harm or discard a pet like that.

    I have senior pugs, raised them since they were babies, touch my babies, I’d bust your face. You should be ashamed. God entrusted animals into our care, you’ll answer for this, we may not know who you are but God does

    Teddy was adopted about 1 or 2 years ago. Buffalo Pug periodically posts about him because there was a huge influx of people who were interested in loving the poop out of him.

    honey you will never know how proud i am of you right now? words culd never express how happy you made me i love pugs i have one myself she is 11,and she is my world,ty again you are great!!!

    WHAT A HORRIBLE thing to do to an animal!!!! I am outraged and livid! I have a 16 year old pug who has lots of health issues, but we love him and care for him always. God bless this young lady who saw and rescued Teddy.
