Girl Saves Senior Pug Left To Die In Garbage Bag

It's just heartbreaking to see these kind of news where the dogs get neglected and abandoned… but when we see ordinary people, let alone a 12-year-old girl, go out of their way to save dogs in need, our faith in humanity somewhat gets restored… Here's the story:

Buffalo Pug and Small Breed Rescue in upstate New York is taking care of a sweet old Pug named Teddy after he was found tied up in a garbage bag and abandoned on the side of the road. Twelve-year-old Malory Steiner saw someone in a dark-colored SUV throw a trash bag out of the car, and was shocked to find the plastic bag still moving.

They notified authorities and Teddy was quickly taken to the vet. The poor little Pug broke his tail when he was tossed, but Teddy is also suffering even worse injuries after being very obviously neglected for a long time.

Check out the video on the next page to learn more about Teddy’s heartless abandonment, and the young girl who came to his fortuitous rescue here:

  1. Team Teddy!!!

This happened just down the road from me. I just wish I would have witnessed this,so I knew the car/truck and got the plate # . Cause this scum bag would have had a rude awakening!!!

Plus my Molly would have gotten in on the action!!

  2. Omg, what is wrong with people?! I would do anything to have my 3 pugs back again and to, once again, see this despicable behavior from a cruel human being just destroys my heart. Bless the girl for saving it and prayers for the precious pug.

  3. I just watched the video and it hurts knowing people can be this way im glad there going too take care of him and give him too a good family my prayers are with you teddy much love for you you beautiful puggy

  4. *this is my angry face*personaly as a dog owner and a pug owner you are there world. Their whole entire world, their world revolves around you.
How could anyone do this. Even when my little guy is old i will love him untill his very last sneeze, and than i will cry… a lot.

  5. Why would someone do this? It just makes me want to cry. My Pug was 17 when he went and as he got older he was blind and he couldn’t do the steps anymore but we loved him. It was like having a disabled child…we loved him no matter what! I would have kept this guy he deserves love and affection!
