In Lima, Peru, Otto the Bulldog glided into the record books with a triumphant attempt at the Longest human tunnel travelled through by a skateboarding dog, all in honor of Guinness World Records Day 2015.
The 3-year-old pooch valiantly skated through the legs of 30 humans, who all faced the same direction and stood with their feet apart to allow the talented English Bulldog to pass freely through the human tunnel without being led or touched.
Watch Otto the skateboarding English Bulldog set the new Guinness World Record for the longest human tunnel travelled through by a skateboarding dog in the video on the next page:

Big boned my$#%&!@* If you believe this and have a bullie it needs to be removed from you. There is a fine line in a healthy robust bullie and an overweight one. Overfeeding them is worse than underfeeding them. The extra weight causes many more health issues and a shorter lifespan. You do not have to like the truth but you should at least listen for the health of the dog if nothing else.

J.d. Byrd are you a member of the Bulldog Club Of America? I highly suggest you read up on The Bulldog Standard and review the illustrated guide. It may help educate you.
As a former exhibitor, breeder, and rescuer of the breed I’m pretty confident In my knowledge.
I’d also like to make note that the Bulldog Standard isn’t the same in other country’s. In the UK for example they tend to be a bit longer in length and tail. I believe Otto was not bred in the US and thus is a bit larger than what many people are used to seeing in the states.
If you watch Ottos videos on his page you can clearly see he is fit. An obese or overweight dog of any breed would not exhibit that type of endurance, agility, and stamina.

Rhiann Teal Congratulations on being a member of the napkin carrying dog owners. Here is a little info for you. 99.9% of Bull Dog owners will not agree with you to your standards. This old breed has been arround a long time as im sure your reading has told you. I would challenge you to have that animal measured for body fat content. You do know there is a standard for that as well right? Just from the eye test That animal is im betting 80 pounds plus. And such an educated person yourself you know that standard is 50 lb for a grown male and 40 for the$#%&!@* Now some animals are a little taller and can carry a little more weight and this one looks to be a little taller as well so comfortably I would say 60 lb should be his max weight, out of standard yes but not for the individual animal. Now this animal which I am pretty sure is in the 80 lb range is 1/4 over even the increase to 60lb. I have read studies that indicate even 10% overweight can reduce there lifespan as much as two years. Not to mention the other health issues weight places on a Bullie. Now Im just 53 years old and had a number of breeds in my lifetime and not once I have I seen anything that indicates being overweight helps any of them. And the issues Bullies have even when healthy are enough to keep one running to the vet more than with most breeds. I do not promote that people starve there animal to get to the standard wither because the vast majority of the time there are two issues. A poor food or someone or everyone feeding the Bullie tablefood. too much. Yes I treat my guys with table food at times. But they main staple is a food with Salmon and sweet potato. You profess to know much more than most by putting your credentials out there. I refuse to do that but I can not agree with your acessment in the case.

J.d. Byrd id much rather be a member of a group that supports overall betterment in a breed type than an$#%&!@*like yourself.
And for the record. A BMI is a guideline not a standard. Out of 153 breed types 122 do not have disqualifications for size. There is far more to bettering the breed than size. Health and temperament should be first. Some of the most recognized and influential Bulldogs in history were not within weight according to The Bulldog Standard. Without them this breed wouldn’t even exist.
Have a good day. We can agree to disagree.
