Although your dog may not throw fits of rage every day, boxers may be internalizing some serious wrath.

We see the signs everywhere. From their looks of contempt while you wolf down your dinner to their bottled up jealousy of your other pets.

Boxers may appear gentle and loving, but don’t poke the bear…

Well, here's Buddy the Boxer defending himself against a dangerous piece of wood… demonstrating to the world what he's really capable of being and doing!

  1. We ended up doing the same thing. Our Chloe was everything to us and we thought she had a blockage and she died at the vets office in the middle of the night after her surgery. Kind of relieved to find out she ended up having cancer and no blockage, but she was only 4. (Then we knew we didn’t actually do anything wrong and there was less guilt). We only waited a couple months before we got our Lily, and I am so happy she saved our family from the heartache of losing Chloe. She of course would never replace her, but she sure helped with the emptiness. I can’t believe it has been 7 years now!!

  2. I was living with roommates, who also have boxers, when my Kaia died at 14. I was so bereft and deuce comforted me the whole time. He cleaved himself to me so completely, that my friends ended up giving him to me when I moved out. They thought he wouldn’t be happy unless he was with me. My boxer picked me! So, I definitely recommend getting another!
