  1. My old boxer Bailey she never had the chance to have puppies but when a family friend came over with her new born Bailey couldn’t figure out what it was at first. She would sniff and lick her feet then back away when the baby giggled . A hour later Bailey was sleeping right next to the baby making sure she was protected and any time the baby would cry she would get up and lick the baby’s foot and the baby would laugh and giggle. Rip Bailey cancer took you way to soon

  2. mine is very gentle with the 1 yr old and when we first brought her home she smelled her locked her and proceeded to lay in front of her swing keeping the cat away lol she takes stuff from the baby’s hand so lightly and carefully. love my babies and furbabies

  3. My boxer Captain, is a handsome awkward moron… I love him to death but he is just an idiot. He spazes out and hurts me all the time. I was so nervous to let him around my nieces and nephews but we were outside so I figured he’d probably run from them. No he sat perfectly still a let my youngest baby niece hug all over him. It’s was like he really understood that babies required extra care and patience.

  4. That is exactly how my boxer boy reacted to our first born daughter – he then took it upon himself to sleep under her bassinet & guarded her. Whenever she so much as whimpered, he came to me and wrapped his mouth around my wrist and ever so gently led me to her. From that day on he was her guardian & he fretted if he could not be close to her. They became firm friends and she could do no wrong by him, he never once hurt her and yet when it was playtime with us, he was still the wildly active “all in” rough-house boy he had always been! She now has 2 boxers of her own, 40-odd years on!!
