When Rocky arrived at a crowded kill shelter after being rescued from an abuse case, no one knew exactly what he’d been through — but his sadness said it all. Thin, withdrawn, and heartbroken, Rocky barely lifted his head when people walked by his kennel.
Shelter volunteer Kelsey said she’d never seen a dog look more defeated. So when his name appeared on the euthanasia list, she knew she had to act fast. She pulled Rocky from the shelter and promised to help him find a family who would finally show him love.
Still, finding someone willing to take a chance on him wasn’t easy. People passed him over again and again — until Liam showed up. The moment they met, everything changed.
Now, Rocky’s days of sadness are long gone. He’s all cuddles, tail wags, and joy — a big, mushy sweetheart who loves nothing more than being close to his favorite human.
