Heavily pregnant and all alone, a sweet pig named Noelle was desperate for a safe place to bring her babies into the world. With no better option, she tucked herself inside a small, forgotten tin shed on what looked like an abandoned farm.

Now safe at Edgar’s Mission, Noelle no longer has to worry about food, warmth, or shelter. She can finally dedicate herself fully to nurturing her lively litter.

“The sight of seven pink cherub-like piglets — and one black-and-pink little one — all competing for a teat to call their own was a joy beyond compare,” the sanctuary wrote. “It more than made up for our late-night dash to rescue them.”
