When tiny Willow was found in front of a bustling market, she was just a few weeks old — fragile, starving, and utterly heartbroken.
Curled up in a corner, Willow cried out for her mother, her tiny voice lost in the noise of passing shoppers. Her fur was falling out in patches, her skin raw and red from neglect. She was clearly in pain — and clearly alone.
But despite her visible suffering, people walked by. Some looked away. Most didn’t stop. The world kept moving, and Willow was left to fend for herself in the cold, hard corner of a busy marketplace.
