5. Sleeping With You
Dogs are pack animals. They naturally want to maintain a close proximity to the beings most important to them.
Just like wolves and other canids who sleep huddled together, they instinctively want to feel warm and safe in order to let their guard down and fall asleep.
You make him feel warm and safe and being beside you is where he is happiest.
Sleeping with you is his way of saying “I love you.”
