It's been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, ain't that the truth!
Here are some of our favorite dog quotes that are short and to the point, but that really conveyed how we felt about dogs, and why we do what we do here at PawBuzz:
“Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.”
“Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside of a dog it’s too dark to read.”
“Whoever said diamonds are a girl’s best friend never owned a dog.”
“Unconditional love is as close as your nearest shelter.”
“What a beautiful world it would be if people had hearts like dogs.”
“In a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog.”
Sometimes, we take our furry friends and wonderful companions for granted.
If we want to pay back the favor and give them the best life possible, these 20 important reminders should serve you well as awesome dog owners. The last one (#20) brought me to tears…

I regret not being by my babies side when I had to put her down. I came home one day to my fur baby laying in her own puke, eye/ ears were bright yellow. I knew it was her liver from just looking at her. So I started crying and hugging her and brought her to my car so I could take her to the vet. I’ll never forget before she hoped in my car she went pee and it was bright orange and lots of blood. Right then and there I knew I was losing her. I couldn’t hold it together. I got her in the car to go to the vet. And the first thing I asked is if I had to put her down. Of course at that time they only knew her liver was failing by her colour of her eyes. My mom showed up as they were doing x-Rays just to tell us she had a huge mass over her liver. She was dying before our eyes and there was nothing we could do. Not even surgery would of saved her. I gave her one last hug and kiss and ran out of the vet and sat outside in my car. My mom stayed with cookie till her last breath and came out in tears. 6 months before this we got our baby leg surgery so she could run around again as her legs were getting so bad she couldn’t do anything. It was either put her down or spend the 6,000 to get her legs fixed. They did testing to make sure she was healthy and they said she would live till 14-15. 6 months later I had to put my baby down. 10,000$ in debt and no fur baby. I was 19 at that time and she was almost ten years. She and I have been through a lot together and she was my little wiggle bum. My other dog got really depressed and wouldn’t eat so we decided to get another dog to make him happy again. Which worked but I still find my self calling out for my cookie, little wiggle bum. Forever in our hearts. My love cookie❤️

It it just me or does anyone else get annoyed that to read this posts you have to go through 40 pages and have your computer freeze up in the process. I know they’re mainly there for advertising, but page after page to get to the end is nuts.

Love the story by Bill Castles…I had a dog that was part golden part German Shepherd, Named him Jesse James because the only part of him was his black markings on his face, that made it look like he had a mask covering his face, the rest was definitely Golden, especially his beautiful tail. Had him 14 and a half years, and like bill said, it nearly killed me to have to have him put to sleep. I made it six months without a dog, but couldn’t go on without one any longer so got another. This time it had to be a golden …and I wanted a dark one so it would look like Jesse. Got one from a litter, and picked the darkest, after seeing the beautiful mother and her sister who were both reddish blond. Named this one Golden Sunshine Sunny. It was a pouring rain the day I got him so I said I have my GoldenSunshine to make up for the rain. He will be 6 in April and looks just like the one in the photo, is now the joy of my life. Wrote a story about Jesse as I thought there woud never be another, but might even write another about Sunny. For my eyes only, as it is not well written, but it brings me joy reading it.

Wiggle bum! I love that, it perfectly describes a boston! I feel your sorrow. Losing bostons is the hardest thing to do…

I miss my bostons and Puggy every single day. I unliked all the sites bc I couldn’t bear to see pics and be reminded. Facebook still shows me and I find it almost tortuous… it will be 4 years since Molly passed, then June months later (she was stolen from my car) then Darcy and finally Puggy ,the last of the group 3 years ago. I adopted a border collie, but, honestly find it difficult to have any more bostons. The heartbreak is that of losing a child. They are an extra special breed, I’ve lost pets in the past, but, it didn’t hurt this much. I miss my girls every single day, but, luckily they visit my dreams. Everyone thinks I’m nuts, but, they have obviously never had a boston!
