20 Things All Dog Owners Must Never Forget

It's been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, ain't that the truth!

Here are some of our favorite dog quotes that are short and to the point, but that really conveyed how we felt about dogs, and why we do what we do here at PawBuzz:

“Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.”
“Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside of a dog it’s too dark to read.”
“Whoever said diamonds are a girl’s best friend never owned a dog.”
“Unconditional love is as close as your nearest shelter.”
“What a beautiful world it would be if people had hearts like dogs.”
“In a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog.”

a dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself – Josh Billings

Sometimes, we take our furry friends and wonderful companions for granted.

If we want to pay back the favor and give them the best life possible, these 20 important reminders should serve you well as awesome dog owners. The last one (#20) brought me to tears…

  1. I see this as post on my newsfeed every now and then. I read it every time. It is so true. Some may think our dog is spoiled, that our live revolves around her and yes it does….we take her in the car with us as often as possible, loves the car, talk to Heidi as if she can understand us. Cuddles, treats ,love, everything we can do to make Heidi happy we do. She is absolutely worth it. She is 15 months old, hopefully we will have many years with her

  2. I had too put down 2 of my Chihuahuas last year 4 months apart. First the mom then the daughter in December it was so hard too do. I have the daddy left who was my first dog ever and I would take it very bad if something happen to him. I love him so much. 20 made me tear up

  3. Both myself and hubby held our rottie archie we sat on the floor and sobbed like children he was such a special boy always new when we needed a hug the kids adored him ….. It took two years before we could face getting another rottie but now we have and don’t regret it at all even tho he’s wrecking the house and garden we know he won’t be here forever so everyday is a special one with him x
