20 Things All Dog Owners Must Never Forget

It's been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, ain't that the truth!

Here are some of our favorite dog quotes that are short and to the point, but that really conveyed how we felt about dogs, and why we do what we do here at PawBuzz:

“Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.”
“Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside of a dog it’s too dark to read.”
“Whoever said diamonds are a girl’s best friend never owned a dog.”
“Unconditional love is as close as your nearest shelter.”
“What a beautiful world it would be if people had hearts like dogs.”
“In a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog.”

a dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself – Josh Billings

If we want to pay back the favor and give them the best life possible, these 20 important reminders should serve you well as awesome dog owners. The last one (#20) brought me to tears…

  1. I will I will not give up with him I really think it what happen to him when he was a few weeks old my vet could not believe what they did to him there are times he’s good he loves to cuddle up on my lap but later when I try to get up he grows at me because he does not what to get off my lap ha ha

  2. There is no way on God’s green earth any dog I’ve ever been owned by will depart this earth without me holding them and telling them how very much I love them. It is the least I can do after all they give. It is the final gift. No matter how painful for us

  3. Two of our beloved dogs were special to my husband before he died. Their Ashes are buried with him. I stayed when I had to put them to sleep and held them in my arms and even though he was in the nursing home he missed them.
