    Agota Alvarez, please don’t be so hard on yourself. You were there until the end in my book! I have been there when the vet put both of my baby’s down. Each time was very hard but I’d imagine that it is just as hard or harder not to be in the room – My husband almost did not go in the room for our second baby. It was two years after the first, but he remembered it all too well. At the last second he decided he wanted to be there. It happens so fast that I’m sure your baby did not realize the end was just a second away. Your baby felt your love!!! Remember that you gave your baby the happiest times of his life. He loves you as much as you love him. {{{hugs}}}

    I’m glad. I really stinks losing them, I know. The hurt never goes away. I like to try and think of some little quirky moment and smile. That is what are babies would want for us. They always want to love us, and make us smile. So make sure you smile with those tears! ❤️

    Nah Fred Greenwood, some just prefer the comfort of being with us. I have 4, and one will sleep outside in the rain if we let her. Her mate can tolerate the cold, he just likes the inside. Their children can handle the cold as good as mom, but like the creature comforts of inside too. It is more about personality than it is where they were raised.
