    I’ve got about 6 months to a year left with my Bubba, I am struggling with this as cancer takes hold of him…I cry at all dog posts and get sad at that day I put him down…BUT I try to be sad away from him and remain positive around him…since he senses the energy levels, he’s starting to bite a little and “attack” and is very irritable I am sure it’s from pain or not just feeling well…I will love him til the bitter end and hope as 20 said he will be in my arms when the time arrives (I’m a flight attendant and my mom/sis takes care of him when I travel) I PRAY nothing major happens while I’m away…

    One thing I regret was not being there when my 10yo bulldog Frank Merman took his final breaths… I was gonna take him the next day to be put asleep but he died while I was gone. Feels like he made the decision so I wouldn’t have to.
