What some call ugly others might call irresistibly cute! The Pug has turned into one of the most popular dogs in the United States.

These lovable dogs with wrinkly, short-muzzled faces and curled tails are often described as a lot of dogs in a small space.

Sometimes playful and clownish, sometimes calm and dignified, always sturdy and stable, good-humored and amiable — that is the Pug.

It’s been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, Pugs are no exception!

But sometimes, we take our furry friends and wonderful companions for granted. There are important life lessons that are sometimes easy to forget in our hectic lives, that all Pug owners must never forget.

    #20 is so true…my first pug passed in icu at 15. I knew my second pug was dying – I sat with him on the couch all day talking to him – giving him permission (if you will) to leave me. He was 1 day shy of 15. I will be there when our current pugs pass. They are babies now. I have loved all my pugs so much.

    Not exclusive to Pugs and whoever published this clearly doesn’t have a pug! 1. I will follow you everywhere you go and if i can, i will sit ON various parts of you, including your head. 2. Food is what i LIVE for! I can hear the sound of the fridge opening from miles away! 3. I snore, really LOUDLY, sometimes when I’m awake. 4. I’m a sleeper, i love to sleep, preferably on a mountain of fluffy pilloes! 5. I fart. A lot! 6. I will approach random strangers and love them more, particularly if they have treats. 7. I bark at random objects because sometimes they freak me out. 8. I love ALL people, especially if they have food. 9. I leave a trail of hair everywhere i go, so i need brushing, a lot. 10. I will take every opportunity to roll in disgusting things like fox poo. 11. I will bark at every moving object on the TV. 12. I like to take my time deciding where to do my business, often going round in circles for ages before going back to the very first place. 13. Rain is not my favourite weather. 14. I will take my bone and try to bury it in ridiculous places, like the sofa. 15. If you sit near the bone i will give you the death stare until you move. 16. I will sit on you facing the other way because i like to see other stuff more than you. 17. I will sit in the sun until i cooked and panting like a train, you may need to move me. 18. Heat is not my friend. 19. I love other pugs, a lot, so take me out to socialise. 20. Pug snot. That is all.

    I followed all of the Pug Owners Commandments. I am glad I was there in the end holding Rosebud when she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She never left my side her entire life and my brother and I never left hers in the end:) RIP Baby Girl

    When i read this,the last one is make me cry
    I miss my pug Mushi when she left she is in emergensy room and I too scared to see she left. That’s why i dont come in that room to be with her in the last time.
    I feel so bad…
    (Sorry for this bad english i’m not good at it. But i really want to write it. It’s make me feel better;-;)
