We lost our last Retriever and had no idea we would get Benson. We did ,he has given us more than anything we could have imagined and is a fitting tribute to all our beautiful boy’s and girl’s we loved and lost over forty years of loving Dogs…

  4. My one labs stomach twisted and it was too risky at his age to get the surgery, not to mention I couldn’t afford the $1800 the emergency clinic needed now as they did not do billing. Anyways, my wife at the time left the decision up to me. I had to put him down. It was very difficult and I laid on the floor holding him until the very end. It was so tough. He was the greatest dog is ever had and my family loved him dearly. Good article.
