20 Things All Labrador Owners Must Never Forget

One of the best dogs for children of all ages, Labrador Retrievers are kindly, good-natured, and take most things in stride.

  1. I held my Annie’s face and we stared at each other until she passed. I wanted her to know I was there with her and I wanted to be the last person she saw. She was 15.3 years old and tried so hard to stay on this green earth longer but she was in too much pain. This day happened two years ago December 20th and I miss her more than words can say. She was protective of me to a fault. Diana

  2. 🙁 I am sorry for your loss Ivy, this August will be 9 years that i had to put Bear down, and i still cry when i think about him, i love the two i have now but i can never replace Bear 🙁

  3. Toby, our Yellow Labrador shared our lives from when he was 8 weeks old, until I was with him when he passed away aged nine years and that was over 20 years ago and I would do it all again. So pleased I accompanied him on his final journey, a comfort to him and to me, and I know he is waiting with me at the Rainbow Bridge.
