  1. Don’t know how anyone can keep their dog outside in the snow or summer heat. Wherever we are our dogs are, as far as possible, especially at home. They deserve to be treated like one of the family, they give so much unconditional love they should have even more given back.

  2. I’ve cried many tears into my golden’s fur, but the hardest was when I held her in my arms and rocked her when she crossed the rainbow bridge, She was the best.

  3. #20 is a killer. We had our 1st golden retriever for 15yrs and the day we put her down was one of the worst days of my life. Like a piece of your heart is ripped open. It took a number of years and other rescue animals before we decided it was time to bring another golden girl into our lives. Best decision to seek out adopting a rescue golden retriever. Not sure who rescued who & all I know is it feels good!
