The comical clowns love to play games and have a great sense of humor. They are loyal little dogs, very attached to their family, and they firmly believe that sleeping under the bedcovers is in the Dachshund Bill of Rights.

    He is battling urinary tract infections. 🙁 there isn’t anything they can do to prevent the infections so now will be on a low dose antibiotic. We also have to express his bladder as much as possible. Maxx tends to wake me up haha…but I also work 2nd shift.

    Love my Oscar (dox) 9 yrs and my Wiley (rescued chihuahua) 6yrs They both have every trait explained in this article! They have been a great joy in my life. Don’t know what i would do without them.

    We are on our 4th fur baby, and our 3rd, Chippy passed this March 5th at the age of 17. I can not tell you how much we miss him. He was the most loyal dog any family could ever wish for. We are left with Bella, a silver dapple dachshund. They leave such a huge imprint in your heart. It’s hard to explain how much one can love such a defenseless creature, but only those of us who own them really and truly know the love they give in return. It just doesn’t get any easier parting with them.
