The Cocker Spaniel is primarily a beloved companion dog breed, though he remains a capable bird dog at heart.

Beautiful to look at (and labor-intensive to groom), the Cocker’s amenable, cheerful disposition also makes him a treat to have in the family.

Never more pleased than when he’s pleasing you, he’s as happy to snuggle on the couch with his favorite adults as to romp in the yard with the kids.

    Phoebe is just like this: jumping up when you come home, loves nothing more than sitting next to me or on me (yesterday she sat on my back while I was sunbathing), loves her back being scratched, and loves getting muddy and has such a happy demeanour 🙂

    The little blonde looks just like my Molly, and the black one looks just like my sons Lexi. They are now in heaven playing together, I miss them so so very much, they were so loyal and wonderful pets.

    my spaniel is amazing,…prior to going out i alway,s put his bed in the kitchen,he knows instinctliveley,.despite a long face i say 2 mins mummy be home,..when i get home its pandemonium,…he ate an old shoe of mine its what call his slipper,..he loves it,.lol,..we have to take it everywhere,..and he brings it to bed ewwwww,….but i love him to bit,s

    My baby is so sweet and I love her so much even when she becomes the devil and bossy this is my 2nd cocker and I worry about her all the time as she has an autoamune problem and if she just look ill she at the vets I won’t her to live forever but I know that won’t happen so I spoil her and will one day meet her again my little devil that I love so much.

    My girl Trixie – had to help her to the Bridge in September after – 15-1/2 years of love & companionship. Cocker spaniels are very special dogs – people really don’t realize it until they have one! I will miss her for the rest of my life.

    This is my baby girl (14 years old) when we lost her last year to kidney failure. I was planting in the gatden Sunday, crying like a baby because she was my hole digger, I would point to where I wanted the hole, she would dig the perfect hole. Not quite a year since she crossed the bridge but still very heartbroken. We were with her when she took her last breath, I couldnt send her off on her journey alone. Miss you every day Snookers.

    I’ve had 3 cocker spaniels, 2 tan ones and one black n white. They were my cocker babies, i miss them everyday, Keesha, Nikki and Keeskki. Cockers have a special place in my heart forever.
