20 Things All Boston Terrier Owners Must Never Forget

Boston Terriers are known for being very intelligent — sometimes too much so.

Their lively, affectionate nature makes them extremely lovable, though their sometimes stubborn nature or spurts of hyperactivity can land them in hot water with their owners.

Any angst about their behavior, however, soon melts when they look up at you with those huge, round eyes that seem to say “I love you.”

It’s been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, Boston Terriers are no exception!

But sometimes, we take our furry friends and wonderful companions for granted. There are important life lessons that are sometimes easy to forget in our hectic lives, that all Boston Terrier owners must never forget.

If we want to pay back the favor and give them the best life possible, these 20 important reminders should serve you well as awesome Boston Terrier owners. The last one (#20) brought me to tears…

  1. My boys. Bob and willy. Rescued from the safe animal shelter about 4 and 9 years ago. My best buds. I’ll never own another breed than bostons. Great pups!

  2. I LOVE my Bostons!! They may be crazy, frantic, psycho, ornery, stubborn, naughty and even at times they fight, BUT nothing can ever replace the sloppy, wet, kisses they ALWAYS have waiting for us!! Fenway and Quincy our my boys!!

  3. Having lost both of my Bostons all of them were sad, but yes 19 and 20 made me cry. I did just that with both. Yankee Doodle I held for the Dr. I have his ashes, and Mason Dixon he died with my husband and I in our bed with us, I have his ashes. I loved them dearly. They had two rooms and a pet door. They were happy little guys. Everybody loved the “boys” they brought a lot of smiles to faces. Bless their little angle dog hearts. RIP boys.
