Boston Terriers are known for being very intelligent — sometimes too much so.
Their lively, affectionate nature makes them extremely lovable, though their sometimes stubborn nature or spurts of hyperactivity can land them in hot water with their owners.
Any angst about their behavior, however, soon melts when they look up at you with those huge, round eyes that seem to say “I love you.”
It’s been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, Boston Terriers are no exception!
But sometimes, we take our furry friends and wonderful companions for granted. There are important life lessons that are sometimes easy to forget in our hectic lives, that all Boston Terrier owners must never forget.
If we want to pay back the favor and give them the best life possible, these 20 important reminders should serve you well as awesome Boston Terrier owners. The last one (#20) brought me to tears…

I had 4, after 10 years Buffy couldn’t be found? Someone dumped her on a busy street 1/2 mile from home, she had never been farther than next door. She was gone. A week later I put her sister Brindy down, held her and I actually felt her go to Heaven, 8 months later our Bonnie our 12.5 year old was held as she made her way. I’m getting ready now to bring her urn home. I have a loving 12.5 year old Boston, Belle and a 9 month old Frenchie. They are the loves of our life. My lesson, don’t get four close together no matter what anyone says. Spread them out. I lost my baby first at 9.5 years old. Get them by 2’s so they have buddies and love them with all your heart as they will love you.

They are the best pet ever. Tux had cancer and was 7 years old. Tried every thing to save him regardless of cost.Tux was so precious to us and after a long wait four of our family took him to vet and put him to sleep.boston terrear are the gentlemen of all pets. He was a great companion. We can’t get over it and accept he is gone.
