Before you make any important decision in your life, you should always do some research beforehand.
Adding a new dog to your household is not a small decision. You’re taking on the responsibility of owning and caring for another living being.
Unfortunately a lot of people forget this and end up getting a dog without knowing what they are getting themselves into.
Different dog breeds need different things. When it comes to pugs, here are the most frequently asked questions that the awesome peeps from Pug Rescue of Austin have answered for you!

Question that was left out is: do pugs know how to swim? The anwser is yes however it varies. I’ve seen pugs that cannot swim but my pugs loved the water and knew how to swim. Pugs can swim but not long distances. Be careful and watch them at all times when they are bathing.

Well my pugs did say outside but I guess it depends where you live. I live in Canada and we have hot summers at times but it’s important that they have a little place in the shade where they can go to. And like any other dog do not put them in a unsupervised car in hot weather. Avoid long walk in 30 degree weather. Either then that I never had a problem.
