The Rottweiler is a robust, powerful, and loyal dog with strong protective instincts. They are outstanding companions and protectors.

Because of the Rottweiler’s size, strength, and protectiveness, owning a Rottweiler carries a great deal of responsibility and commitment.

Rottweiler's temperament vary from natural clowns, affectionate to almost everyone, to the very reserved one-man dog. Rottweilers are calm and alert companions.

Rottweilers often follow their masters around the house keeping a constant and sometimes obtrusive watch over their loved ones.

If you are considering to own a rottweiler, or you’ve just become a new rottie owner, there are some realities you do need to fully accept.

  1. No couch, no chair and no on any of the beds. He has 2 beds of his own. One in the front / TV room and one in the master bed room. Also no in the kitchen unless on guard duty. These dogs can be trained to do just about anything. But you have to take your time and don’t give up.

  2. Mine was stubborn at times but nothing I couldn’t handle. She aimed to please so much more. Best dog I ever had and so miss her so much. Want another 🙂 too bad they have the horrible reputation because those few bad ones definitely don’t represent all the other wonderful ones that give so much love to their owner and friendly and tolerant to everyone. Their expressions are priceless 🙂 love them all

  3. Day-z Toogood this is so true of nala…..who misissing you so much and getting very big and strong living out in the countryside 😀 mad as the joker and still cant catch the ball when its in the air ahahahaha

  4. No bed for our 6 month old Rottie, but he is a couch hog..and socks..every sock in the house belongs to him…lol. He is work, no doubt about that, but we love every minute!!
