  2. I love Jack Russells. Our Bassett hound died 18 months ago and I’m getting the baby blues for another fur baby. We have two cats, one of which does not accept change very well. I have researched dogs that et alon best with cats. I really like short haired dogs and really want a smaller dog. First consideration has to be the cats and their right to a decent life without too much conflict…..A JR might drive them crazy..the Bassett was sweet till we were out of sight then he’d chase…
