A well-bred Cocker Spaniel is a pleasure to own. He is known for a merry, sound temperament.

Compared to other dogs in the Sporting Group, the Cocker is small (20 to 30 pounds), fitting comfortably into an apartment, condo, or a small home.

He is primarily a companion but is easily trained for the conformation show ring, obedience and agility competitions, and field work. He is also an excellent therapy dog.

  1. I’d love to have one litter of 3/4 Cocker/ 1/4 Springer pups with my two. Oakley comes from excellent working parents , both great gun dogs (Springer mother, Working Cocker father) I think they would have gorgeous pups.

  2. Nailed it ! I Adopted/Rescued my girl Angel when she had just turned 4, I’ve had her for going on 8 wonderful ~ challenging years ~ She is my Best friend my, love, my soul… Spaniel are the best <3

  3. Kim Carter how do you cope? I ‘ve had dogs my hole life as a kid, why Ripley is affecting me this much I don’t know. Like today I found one of his old squeaker out of one of his toys and just lost it
