    Kitty Cruz, I have a three pound take up, she adores any and all children! All the children in the family have been taught to treat her as a baby and they do. I have to watch adults around her more than anybody else, because they forget to watch and will step on her, so it’s not the children if a child is taught correctly to begin with

    Top picture, Rico is a rescue chihuahua and Princess is my fawn baby . We love them both. They rule the house. Home cooked meals , tummy rubs and naps with daddy and lots of kisses !

    I think they are good with babies. I have had mine since she was 8 weeks and she’s amazing with my 2 year old. If they are not use to kids of course they will be weird around them but I have a 2 year old and my dog loves him.

    Sounds like our house! My two little white long-hairs, Popi and Chita, were rescued from a puppy mill by the Houston Humane Society (I’m the board president) and I knew I had to have them the minute I laid eyes on them! My little brown long-hair, Coco, was my parents’ baby and when they both died in 2009, she came to live with us. I had given her to them for Christmas in 2000. And my little white short hair, Baby, belonged to my granddaughters and they were going to give her away when she was 18 months old. I told them over my dead body, so she came to live with us. They’re all getting up in age, 8 to 16, but I try not to ever think about that! They really are the light of my life!
