Playful, Devoted, Bright, Loyal, Energetic, Friendly, Calm, Cheerful, Confident, Fearless, Brave, Intelligent… These are some of the words that describe a boxer's temperament.
Do you think you can handle this breed?
Boxers may be widely known to be happy and friendly, there are reasons why you should NEVER allow them into your family. You'd be simply crazy to even consider it!
Here are 10 reasons why…
1. They’re far too grumpy to snuggle your kiddies.
2. They just aren’t cute as puppies. Naha.
3. Nope. Still not cute.

4. You’ve NO chance of ever seeing them doing the ‘just-love-your-squishy-nose’ parent thing. Nope.
5. So they’ll never look out for your tiny human. Forget it.
Move on to the next page for more ridiculously adorable reasons why you should never own a boxer! :p

3 weeks ago my male boxer crossed the rainbow bridge due to cancer. I got him at 8 weeks old always been healthy until last 8 days of his life. He had all well checks and blood work done all his life nothing showed up until end of life he was 10 years old. We had to make the toughest decision ever he was losing blood count fast no blood transfusion nor medications could keep him alive. He had heavy breathing at night it was so sad. My heart aches so bad I missed him so much.

Hilary Bird thank you! It’s so hard it was the hardest thing to do. He was Sweet heart what makes it so hard he was my child fur baby. He was always near me no matter what. He knew when his mommy was sick and having a bad flare or migraines headaches I don’t know how he knew but he did. I feel like I failed him but I followed all instructions kept him warm and physically hand fed him. Bless you with your kind words. I never had children he was my rock and soul. I hope time heals I still cry or try to find a reason why he died other than cancer. I keep blaming myself the what ifs

I wish my rescued boxer, Frankie was like this..he’s so damaged even after 6 years, he is terrified of people, loud noises, hardley ever shows any happy actions, very seldom plays with anything or my other boxer,Daisy..he is a potential fear biter..he is beautiful but unadoptable as that is what I do with my rescues..rehab and rehome.. He will be with me forever..

Have my last boxer I soon to be 80. My icon dog, Bradley was wonderful smart introvert. We were therapy dog team. I was told boxers tend to be playful extroverts few make the cut. He was very popular on our visits. I love my boxers and grieve when they leave..wish I could cross rainbow bridge..now getting tears in my eyes.

Not even going to read this post just reply! I was raised with boxers and raised my kids with boxers no reason to not own a boxer!! They are great family dogs but the owners have to be able to keep up with them and be a little smarter then them!
