#7 – Yorkshire Terrier
Yorkies have a large dog personality in a tiny body.
They do best with older children since they may not have the patience to deal with toddlers.
They are very intelligent and easy to train, though they may become yappy.

Our two little dachsies are beside themselves with joy when our (local) four grandkids visit. It’s kisses and running all around.
