Hope For Paws received word about a stray dog who was paralyzed by fear. They set out for rescue, and when they arrived, the dog was seen cowering in the corner as frightened as can be. Eldad and Loreta walked up to him slowly so he wouldn’t get spooked and run away from them.
The little pup sat so stiff and scared that rescuers had to wonder if he was injured. But he was in fact just that full of fear. Loreta was able to place the Lucky Leash around the nervous dog’s neck, and they spent a few minutes just sitting with him to try and gain his trust. They named him Scooby-Roo, and they headed to the hospital.
Once in the vehicle and on Loreta’s lap, Scooby-Roo started to relax a bit. After a bath and the necessary medical care, the good boy was off to his foster with The Forgotten Dog Foundation. Rehabilitation like this takes some time, but thanks to all of the love and care he received Scooby-Roo is happy and well! But he still needs that forever home.
