Dog Missing From Car After Huge Rollover Crash, Desperate Family Pleads For Help

The Stevenson family from Woodhaven is having sleepless nights after their 1-year-old Golden Retriever, Red, went missing following a major car crash.

The Stevensons were driving to Mayville to visit family for Christmas, but their car lost traction and started rolling over through the slippery Lapeer exit on I-75.

Red was ejected out of the car window during the crash. He panicked and immediately ran off toward the nearby woods. The Stevensons suffered minor injuries and have since been seeking the help of social media to find Red.

Many locals in Auburn Hills have reported spotting Red multiple times, but the shy dog is extremely skittish and runs away whenever someone calls him out.

Expert animal rescuer Michael James has set up safe traps carrying the family’s smell to entice Red. Anyone who spots Red is suggested to avoid approaching him and call the Auburn Hills Police Department instead.

Spread the word and let’s help the anxious family find their dog!
