Harvey the Pug has a bestie at the Gilbert riparian preserve. It's a coyote named Gilbert. Almost every time people visit, these two are seen playing together and playing hard.
It is really amazing that this even happens. Gilbert the coyote is young for one and there are massive amounts of rabbits, birds, cats, etc in this preserve so he isn't starving.
He seems to just relish the time he spends with Harvey the Pug. Watching these two play just makes me smile.
Just goes to show you can make friends with the most unlikely of candidates.

We have coyotes here. It’s my understanding the coyotes “play” with a dog to lure them away to an unpleasant ending. Hope your Pug is okay.

Why oh why do you think this is cute!!!!! I live and grew up in coyote country….. this is wha they do lure make friends or so that is what you think and then the pack is waiting!!!!!!! Please, please don’t let this happen to your pug!!!! I am telling you it will!!!!
