Police Officer Makes Woman Sit In Hot Car After She Left Her Dog In The Car

Police were called when this lady left her dog in a hot car while she went into Walmart.

When she came back out to her car, a cop was waiting and made her sit in the hot car to see how her dog felt!

HuffingtonPost.com reports that this happened after the officer responded to the call about the dog being left in the car in Ohio:

“To prove a point, the officer made the woman sit inside of the warm car with the windows up and without the engine on for a few minutes.

The woman said she was fine but the officer noted she looked uncomfortable. The woman was advised if she did this again she would be cited.”

The article notes that this isn’t the first time that an officer has done this. They say that last year another officer did the same thing to a woman who left her dog in a hot car in New Mexico.

That woman said that what the officer did was “abusive”. It was all caught on camera too.

Do you think it’s fair or is the officer going too far by making these people sit in a hot car after they leave their dogs in a hot car?

  1. Well if he didn’t do it then it would never teach the selfish$#%&!@*a lesson. I commend him totally, and would have done the exact thing. Law’s need changing, for this kind of crime they are way to soft! There are plenty of people who are with the cop on this. He’s a hero to me!

  2. The officer did what she thought was best. We know the law sucks when the law doesn’t full punish these people who don’t care about any ones life. Make law stricter and take animal away from them .That person pays for the keep of animal and not allowed to every have any animal again

  3. Brian Wuest did you watch the video? He did not lock her in the car. He made a sarcastic suggestion for her to stay in her car with rolled up windows/engine off since it was fine for dog. He was mad because she was defending her actions of animal abuse after he was trying to educate how hot a car gets after 1o minutes. He even said she wouldn’t close the door because it was too hot and he said but not too hot for a dog.

  4. I get the lesson being taught but this could be considered unconstitutional under cruel and unusual punishment. Heavy fine, take her car, maybe even jail time, but we cant be infringing on peoples rights because were upset

  5. BRAVO and Respect for Officer Vincent!!! I don’t think Officer Vincent was wrong in any way. I think what he did was awesome and I think if the woman had any common sense, she would of realized the lesson Officer Vincent was trying to show her. Instead, still not thinking about the safety and health of her dog and excepting what she did, she says that Officer Vincent was abusive and made a complaint against him. This goes to show you that you can’t fight stupidity and ignorance. I hope her complaint is dismissed and laughed out. Officer Vincent’s video shows her being disrespectful and laughing, and to be honest she acted like a fool. I stand behind Officer Vincent 100% and thought it was a brilliant idea to make them sit in the vehicle like that ~ I hope it catches on and more fools are put in that position. I also hope the dog is treated better at home! Blessings ♡

  6. Brian, you don’t possess alot of common sense do you!? Does your entire life revolve around politics? If you see a dog taking a$#%&!@*in someones yard, do you bring up politics? Having sex with your significant other, bring up politics. I bet you are an absolute blast at parties.
