Police Dog Shot in the Line of Duty, His Reaction to Officer’s Visit is Priceless

When your partner is shot in the line of duty as a police officer, you are bonded forever by the experience, and that’s still the case when that partner is a K-9 cop, Bruno, and Officer RJ Young.

Bruno put himself in the line of fire during a gunfight with a suspect. The bullet hit his face. Officer Young and other officers in the department rushed him to the hospital.

Doctors tell them the bullet narrowly missed his heart and he has to go through two surgeries and use a breathing tube for a week. After that, Officer Young and Bruno can be reunited again, and the bond is clearly strong.

In fact, Officer Young plans to adopt Bruno into his own family, making him part of his life forever. Officer Young tells ABC News, “He’s like a son to me. Bruno will be with me for the rest of my life.”
