Pit Bull is devastated after her babies died, but then she met an orphaned puppy

While on the streets doing their job, the guys from the animal control saw a pit bull wandering the streets of York, South Carolina.

They immediately noticed the dog was pregnant so they didn’t want to place her at the shelter, but to a place much more suitable for her and her future babies. They contacted a local rescue center and asked them to take this mother-to-be in.

The staff from the rescue center were more than happy to help. They provided the dog with everything she needed, including a cozy room with a bed, and plenty of food. Everyone was eager to meet the little puppies, but then something terrible happened.

Daya, the pit bull, lost her babies due to severe infection. It was a devastating thing to happen because she could sense their absence and was so sad that she started taking in toys and socks and treated them as though they were her kids.

The people from the center knew she was doing this because she couldn’t cope with the pain, so they came up with a lovely idea.

There, at the center, was a cute little orphaned dog who was about to continue his life without his mommy, so the employees from the Halfway There Rescue believed Daya and Raisin could make the perfect match. And they were right.

They started spending their days together and enjoyed each other’s company. Now both of them got what they deserved, a beautiful family of two. Their bond grew stronger and they were a picture perfect match.

However, the foster family that took them in decided to adopt Raisin who was now ready to start a new life as a grown up puppy. The family already had another dog so she got to hang out with her new sibling that she loves so much.

Daya had to get Raisin go, but she was fine with it for Raisin was now a big girl that could continue on her on.

Daya also found her furever home with a lovely family that adores her. She isn’t the only dog in the new family. She also has a sibling she enjoys playing and walking with, and whom she help overcome the anxiety.

We are happy for both Daya and Raisin and we hope every dog out there will share their destiny of finding a forever home.
