Pit Bull has baby in mouth by diaper and bangs at back door – family realizes there’s fire

When we speak of dogs, the first thing that comes to our mind is the word loyalty. It’s beyond believable how these creatures are willing to risk everything, including their life, for the well-being of their owners.

This story that was shared by a woman named Nana Chaichanhda from Stockton, California is just another proof of how valuable a dog can be for one family, and how much joy it can bring.

In the middle of the night, while Nana and her kids were sound asleep, she was suddenly woken up by loud barking and knocking on the front door.

Nana realized it was the family dog that was trying to enter the house, but the noises it made were pretty unusual, in fact it was the very fist time for the dog to act like that.

It raised a red flag, so Nana rushed outside and that’s when she saw a devastating sight. The house next door which belonged to her cousin was on fire.

Nana immediately went upstairs to wake her kids up, concerned for their safety. Once she reached the bedroom, she couldn’t believe her eyes. The dog was already there, dragging the baby by the diaper, trying to save it.

The firefighters who arrived in a matter of minutes did their best but the damage was done, and most of the place was burned down. The case is still under investigation.

On the night of the fire, the house was empty so no person was harmed. Nana and her three children were lucky to have their dog by their side.

I owe her everything. If it wasn’t for Sasha, I would have still been in bed, and things could have taken a worse turn.

Nana is beyond grateful for the opportunity her children to grow up around a dog that is so loyal. She also says that the dog stays at the house, and it was a rare night that she was left outside.

Many people assume that pit bulls are not children oriented dogs and that they can harm babies and young kids, but everyone who owns one, including Nana, can say that assumption is far from reality.
