Dog Is Abandoned At Shelter Twice, Then Wealthy Heiress Puts Her On A Plane To Save Her

Meet Lady, a senior black Labrador, who seemed destined to spend her remaining days in a shelter in Kansas. This sweet dog was so loyal to her owners that she walked 30 miles back to her home after being dropped off at a shelter.

Sadly, her owners didn’t want her anymore, and they made it clear to her by dropping her off at the shelter again. Poor Lady, removed from her home twice in her twilight days, when all she wanted to do was give them the remaining love she has left in her.

All seemed lost for Lady, until one day a rich heiress heard her story and jumped at the chance of adopting her and give her a second chance. This woman, Helen Rich, is an heiress to the Wrigley’s Chewing Gum fortune. With a fitting last name, Helen flew Lady all the way to Florida so she could spend her days with Helen’s other animals on her 15,000-square-foot estate.

Helen’s 130-acre farm houses over 300 rescued animals of various species, and Lady is loving her new home and mom. Helen truly has a heart of gold! If all wealthy people could spend their money in such wholesome ways, the world would become a much better place for everyone.
