Dog Found Stuffed Into Crate & Zip Tied In Cold Outdoor Portable Potty

Some call it fate, some call it divine intervention, and others say it’s pure luck. “Human angels” were watching over a dog who was found zip-tied and abandoned inside a portable toilet in the freezing cold weather of Ottawa County, Michigan.

With no food or water and tied in a crate all by himself, the dog was discovered by some kind folks in the area. He was taken to Harbor Humane for care, and they provided a Facebook update recently.

“They were able to cut the zip ties loose and get him safely to us here at Harbor,” the rescue group wrote. “Reportedly, many thank you kisses ensued…as does with most dogs who have, literally, had their lives saved.”

The dog was named Jon and is a Pit Bull who knows how to sit, drop his toy, and is very well-mannered. Thankfully, the pooch is in good condition and many people have expressed interest in adopting him.

“This sweet wiggle-butt has already stolen the hearts of everyone here, and will surely find a home that is deserving of his love just as he is theirs,” Harbor Humane reported.

Thanks to all the kind people who got involved to help Jon to safety!
