Woman Stumbles Upon Photo Of Her Missing Husky 1.5 Years After He Escaped

A Husky named Galileo went missing from his Lansing, Michigan home in September of 2018 when he was just nine months old.

Galileo got out when the door was accidentally left open.

His owner, Kristin Keehl, searched endlessly for him, but he was nowhere to be found. Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months.

After nearly six months with no sign of Galileo, Keehl began to give up hope and assumed the worst.

Until one day when Keehl was on Facebook and came across a picture in a lost and found page for pets that looked exactly like Galileo.

“Oh my God, that’s my dog!,” Keehl screamed.

For the first time in one and a half years, Keehl knew where her beloved dog was.

Galileo had been spotted running in the middle of a busy street.

Aurora Alldaffer and her mother bribed Galileo with treats and were able to get ahold of him. Keehl got in contact with them after she saw their post, and arranged a reunion with Galileo.

Not only did Alldaffer care for Galileo after finding him, but she also paid to get him chipped for Keehl. In return, Keehl gave Alldaffer a giant stuffed animal Husky that she had that looked just like Galileo.

It’s unknown where Galileo has been the past year and a half, but Keehl is beyond ecstatic and relieved to have him back home.
