This remarkable family reunion happened completely by chance. The Humane Society of Chittenden County took in a Rottweiler named Bella after the family she was with could not afford an expensive surgery she needed to repair her torn CCL. Bella ended up getting the surgery for free and the animal rescue made her available for adoption so she could recover from surgery in a home. That’s when something amazing happened!
“We got a call from a woman who said she thought Bella was her dog, whom she had lost in the process of a messy divorce two years ago and had been missing ever since,” wrote the animal rescue. Jenn came by to see if Bella was actually her dog and the moment was caught on video.
