“Dog-Opoly:” A Board Game For Dog Lovers Where You Buy Pups Instead Of Property

If you love Monopoly and love dogs, then you’re going to love this new game on the market that combines the best of both worlds.

Dog-Opoly is a family-friendly game for ages eight and up for two to six players. In this game, instead of buying property like in regular Monopoly, you buy dogs!

The object of the game is to collect as many dogs as possible before your opponents buy them. You can also own properties such as a fire hydrant or the neighborhood butcher shop. You’re also able to buy and trade dog houses for Big Bones.

There are many different dog breeds around the board, ranging from a small Chihuahua to a Labrador Retriever. While kids (or anyone) play the game, they can learn about the different breeds of dogs, as well we learn how to count money.

Just like in regular Monopoly, you collect $200 every time you pass “Go,” or in this case, “Go Fetch.” You may also have to pay certain penalties for things like “having fleas.”

Monopoly usually gets pretty competitive, and I can see this game becoming just as intense, especially with cute dogs involved!
