6. Sorry to get personal, but we’ve got to. Not only does your dog masturbate, but he or she will continue to do so even after being neutered or spayed. In fact, dogs can become addicted to masturbating, which is often a sign of constant stress.
Humping and masturbation are common behaviors found in dogs. Their masturbation can take the form of mounting stuffed animals, human legs, blankets, bedding, and other dogs (to name but a few of their preferred partners.) It is not just stress that will lead a dog to masturbate.
Very often a dog engages in this behavior after being spayed or neutered because they have been doing it since they were puppies and have come to associate masturbation with feeling good. Masturbation is just as common in male dogs as it is in female dogs. Often this behavior isn’t meant to be sexual, but is playful behavior from their puppyhood.

Can’t even read due to the “gift card prize” pop-up ad. So frustrating when advertising completely blocks a link. Guess it’s click bait and I need to unfollow.
